Chrome, after Safari (and the rest of the browsers will probably follow as well, in the near future) has decided to stop supporting HTTP/0.9 over non-default ports, due to a security issue.

The protocol used by Shoutcast is a slightly modified version of the HTTP protocol, which is interpreted by browsers as HTTP/0.9 , because it does not match the newer HTTP standards.

Alternatively, both Chrome and Safari still support HTTP/0.9 , but only on port 80.

Note that only Shoutcast V2 is now supported at Wohooo

Simple Radio Player Fix**

Find below a simple html5 player to place on your website which works on port 80.

Here is your streaming URL:

http://94.23.147.243/proxy/USERNAME?mp=/;stream/1
Note that you need to replace the "USERNAME" part with your Centova Cast username.

(e.g if my Centovacast username is "woohooradio" the stream URL will be like this: )

http://94.23.147.243/proxy/wohoooradio?mp=/;stream/1

Find here the complete HTML code for the player to place on your website and again replace the USERNAME wording with your Centova Cast username.

<audio controls autoplay style="display: table;margin: 0 auto;">
<source src="http://94.23.147.243/proxy/USERNAME?mp=/;stream/1" type="audio/mpeg">
Your browser does not support the audio element.
</audio>
